This is your place to talk about books. This summer's Book Buzz is a great way to learn about books, but we want to open up the discussion!

We want to hear about your favorite reads, the ones that didn't make you want to turn the page as fast and books that have made a difference in your life.

I am reading Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. I am a great fan of her fiction. This is a non-fiction book about her family's journey into eating only locally grown/produced and/or food from their garden. It is fun and thought provoking.

I've discovered a author new to me, Aimee and David Thurlo. The ones I have been reading are a series about a detective in the Navajo territory, by the name of Ella Clah. This is a great series for fans of Tony Hillerman. They don't have the same perspective, as Ella is not a traditionalist like Jim Chee in the Hillerman books, but she is a good character. I have only read a few but they are one of my new reads for the summer. Another author I've just discovered is Graham Ison, a British author who writes about a British DI, and though I've only read one, I'm planning on reading more.

Still waiting to hear from more of you! I have just cracked open the new book "Rise and Shine" by Anna Quindelin. So far so good!

Molly, sounds interesting! I love it when there's a book coming out to look forward to! We may be planning a "viewer" read along for July!

Hi, I've been reading a series by Pamela Dean called "The Hidden Country" a YA fantasy, which is pretty good. I have the newest Tolkien book, which I'm going to be picking up next.

I'll get the discussion started. I'm reading two Suze Orman books (financial advice) right now which are great. I'm also a huge fan of anything by Nicholas Sparks.
