Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy says a quadriceps injury won't keep wide receiver Donald Driver from playing in Sunday's Super Bowl.
Speaking to reporters Friday, McCarthy says he will be "shocked" if the veteran isn't on the field when the Packers face the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Packers added Driver to their injury report Thursday, listing him as limited in practice. McCarthy says he plans to hold Driver out of Friday's practice as a precaution. Driver missed a game earlier this season because of a quadriceps injury.
McCarthy says his team has handled Super Bowl week well and is ready to play.
