It's Friday afternoon and I'm busy preparing for another hectic evening of high school football, and trying to recover from my disappointment of my hometown of Chicago NOT getting the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.  I'm a Chicagoan so I'm used to losing, so after a few moments of sulking I have decided to get on with my life.   What is of more pressing concern for sports fans here in Eau Claire is Monday's Packers-Vikings game at the Metrodome.  Green Bay faces former quarterback Brett Favre for the first time.  I have vascillated back and forth on which team I think will win, and right now I'm picking a Packers upset, 37-34 in overtime.  I believe Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers will turn the ball over several times combined with teach qb throwing a pick-six interception.  The reason I believe Minnesota will lose is head coach Brad Childress.  If he puts this game in the hands of any other player than Adrian Peterson, he is a fool!  If Brett Favre is asked to throw the ball more than 30 times Monday night, the Vikings will lose!  I think the Packers offensive line will have a rough time with the Vikings front four and if they do not block better than they did the first three weeks of the season, Rodgers will be running for his life, and may get hurt.  Still, I don't see another miraculous Brett Favre final seconds win, I predict a Favre turnover in overtime that leads to a Mason Crosby game-winning field goal, redemption from last year.

Where's part 2? BTW, I'm surprised you didn't mention the matchup between a very good MN d-line, and GB's pourous o-line. Obviously, that was the difference. Maybe we could have mentioned that, or more in-depth analysis instead of Olympic coverage that doesn't affect Western WI.
