The Eau Claire Cavaliers scored five times in the first two innings to pick up a 12-0 shutout victory against the Eau Claire Bears Tuesday night.
Ayumi Nakamura knocked in the game's first run with a single to center as part of a two-run first-inning for the Cavs. Nolan Fadness followed up with a triple to bring home two more runs in a three-run second inning for a 5-0 lead Eau Claire never came close to giving up.
The win improves the Cavaliers overall record to 29-13 this season. Eau Claire will travel to face the Red Wing Aces on Wednesday. First pitch is at 7:30 p.m.
