The Eau Claire Cavaliers finished with three wins in a four-game series with the Manitowoc Bandits this weekend, sweeping a doubleheader between the two teams Sunday. The Cavaliers won game one, 14-6, before taking game two 4-1.

The wins improve the Cavs' overall record to 28-13, and their mark in the Wisconsin State League to 13-7. Eau Claire's sweep also moved them ahead of the Bandits into second place in the league standings.

Nolan Fadness led the way for the Cavaliers in game one of the twinbill, finishing 4-6 with two runs scored and three RBI.

The Cavaliers return home to Carson Park Tuesday to face the Eau Claire Bears. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
