With almost a century of musical experience between them, Bruce Bowers and Ric Gillman bring a wide variety of flavors to the table. From Doc Watson guitar picking to blazing Led Zeppelin electric violin, it’s a musical banquet every night. Always interesting, and sometimes down right unpredictable, each performance is an adventure. Hailing originally from Texas by way of Los Angeles, New Mexico and most points in between, T Bruce Bowers eventually landed on the shores of Lake Superior. With fiddle in hand he took the stage at Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua and has been with the Blue Canvas Orchestra ever since. Ric Gillman is a world class finger style guitarist who has been performing since the early ’70s. From intricate melodic interpretations to heart pounding rhythms on the 12 string he brings a great energy and story to his performance. He has appeared amazing musicians including Bobby Vee, Chris Smithers, Tommy Emmanuel, Pat Donahue and many others. Tickets: Adults $15, Seniors $14, Youth $10.
