B-Framed Galleries latest art exhibition is "Ashley Dull - The Illuminated Landscapes." Ashley is originally from a small farm in picturesque Iowa which inspired her first works and still serve as an inspiration to all through her light filled paintings today. B-Framed Galleries will have a wide range of her work from original paintings to more affordable prints on canvas through the end of April.

The Chippewa Herald along with the Chippewa Valley Cultural Association/Heyde Center for the Arts will again be hosting the 54th Annual Spring Art show. Nearly 100 local artists - old and young, novice and experienced - submit their two and three-dimensional art works each year to this community exhibit. The exhibition includes original paintings, sculptures, photos, stained glass, mosaics, ceramics, other creative art forms, demonstrations, and cash awards. There is no charge to the public for this exhibit, but donations are appreciated to help keep this exceptional gallery space available to the community. Registration opens January 25, 2018 and closes March 9th at 4:00 p.m.

Over the course of this program, you will learn: • The components of a comprehensive lower extremity assessment. • How to identify selected conditions of the skin and nails. • Appropriate patient teaching content and methods. • Issues related to providing foot and nail care as an independent nursing practice. • Basic and intermediate level foot and nail care in a supervised clinical setting.

This class is designed to help demystify the entire publishing process. You will learn the ins and outs of indie publishing, and as a result, will have the knowledge to successfully indie publish your own book. At the end, even if you choose to go through a traditional publisher, knowing what your options are will make you a more savvy author.
