A pillar event of the Chippewa Valley Sustainability Fair, this will inspire and empower you and give you resources to take action in the movement to protect our common home.

The great cooks of Our Saviour's bring you their famous Ham Loaf Dinner on Tuesday, April 17. Together with the ham loaf, Au Gratin Potatoes, Rolls, Green Beans Almondine, Cranberry-Pineapple Salad, Beverages and even PIE. Plus a large bake sale area, wonderful quilts and craft items. B-Framed Galleries latest art exhibition is "Ashley Dull - The Illuminated Landscapes." Ashley is originally from a small farm in picturesque Iowa which inspired her first works and still serve as an inspiration to all through her light filled paintings today. B-Framed Galleries will have a wide range of her work from original paintings to more affordable prints on canvas through the end of April.

Wise Nature Center Create a beautiful piece of garden art using stained glass and glass beads. No garden—no problem! This piece is very pretty hanging in a window. Participants will choose a variety of stained glass pieces and beads which will be adhered to a special wire. All supplies are furnished for the class which will include a cutting demonstration by instructor Linda Bergen. Registration and full payment required by April 13.

The Chippewa Herald along with the Chippewa Valley Cultural Association/Heyde Center for the Arts will again be hosting the 54th Annual Spring Art show. Nearly 100 local artists - old and young, novice and experienced - submit their two and three-dimensional art works each year to this community exhibit. The exhibition includes original paintings, sculptures, photos, stained glass, mosaics, ceramics, other creative art forms, demonstrations, and cash awards. There is no charge to the public for this exhibit, but donations are appreciated to help keep this exceptional gallery space available to the community. Registration opens January 25, 2018 and closes March 9th at 4:00 p.m.

The Hospice Foundation of America webinar will be followed by an in-person presentation by local expert, Lisa Quinn Lee.
The world of publishing continually goes through rapid changes. Self or indie publishing doesn’t have the stigma it once did, but there are still pitfalls, dead ends, and ways that you can easily overspend or have a bad experience. This class is designed to help demystify the entire publishing process. You will learn the ins and outs of indie publishing, and as a result, will have the knowledge to successfully indie publish your own book. At the end, even if you choose to go through a traditional publisher, knowing what your options are will make you a more savvy author.
