"Celebrating Progress" is an event to mark the anniversaries of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Older Americans Act.
Sunday, September 13, from noon to 5:00 p.m. at Owen Park in Eau Claire.
The End of the Summer Hallie Block Party is Saturday, September 12th at the Eagles Banquet Hall and Conference Center. Activities begin around 12 p.m. and include a custom car show, kickball tournament, climbing wall and zip line, food, games, and music. All proceeds go to the Unmet Needs Program for military families.
Rock ‘N Run for the Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild is Saturday, September 12th. Early registration ends September 10th. Races include a half marathon relay, a half marathon, a 5K, and a kids fun run. The races start and finish at the Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild at 120 W. Grand Avenue in Eau Claire.
The Great Xpedition Race for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin is coming up Saturday, Sept. 12th. The race begins at 10 a.m. at North City Park in Bloomer. This there are four different races offered.
Great Xpedition Triathlon:
4.2 mile run - 14.5 mile bike - 2.5 canoe/kayak
Xpedition Fun Triathlon:
2 mile run - 4.2 mile bike - 2.5 canoe/kayak
4.2 mile run
4.2 mile walk
A Family Fun Festival will be held Saturday, August 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Greenwood High School. It's organized by the Clark County Interagency Coordinating Council for Children and Families.
