We will have cotton candy and popcorn, along with face painting, raffle, petting zoo, music and much, much more! Our event is all free and supported by countless sponsors. Living Well with Chronic Conditions

Posted: 05/16/13 - The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eau Claire County is offering Living Well with Chronic Conditions, a self-management program developed by Stanford University to teach people with chronic illness a healthy way to live with a disease. The Six-week program will be held at Grace Barstow Apartments, 1105 S. Barstow Street, Eau Claire on Tuesdays, July 9 – August 13 5:30-8:00 pm. Registration deadline is July 3rd. Posted: 05/16/13 - The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eau Claire County is offering Stepping On, an evidence-based program proven to help people feel more confident and safe in and around their homes. The 7-week workshop will be held at the Augusta Senior Center, 601 West Main Street, Augusta, 9:30 – 11:30 am, Thursdays, July 11 – August 22, 2013. Registration deadline is July 3rd. Participants can share information and experiences regarding understanding of the disease and treatment. Mild Brain Injury Support Group

Posted: 05/16/13 - This support group is designed for people with mild traumatic brain injuries from accidents, falls, tumors, etc., and their family and friends. The group provides individuals the opportunity to obtain information on brain injury symptoms, listen to guest speakers and talk with other persons with brain injuries and health care professionals. The group also promotes brain injury prevention and community awareness. Newborn Care Class

Posted: 05/16/13 - This one-session class is designed for women in their seventh to ninth months of pregnancy, but may also be effective for those who have recently delivered. Topics addressed include feeding baby, bath time, sleep patterns, parenting and signs of illness. Often a pediatrician is present during a portion of the class to answer questions. Class meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays, June 10 and 24, in the lower level Gold Conference Center at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, 1221 Whipple St. The cost is $10.
