I took my children to the parade this year. For the most part, we enjoyed the parade and the entertainment. It was a great way to spend an afternoon, without spending any money. A huge "Thank you" to the organizations passing out chilled bottles of water too. So nice and unexpected!! The "ninjas" and the graveyard people were quite scary for my 2 and 5 year old children. There was also a man running through the crowd yelling "Give me your candy!" to the children. I understand this was to be entertaining, but the audience really needed to be considered. We told our kids that it was pretend and they were just acting, but still.
