EAU CLAIRE (WEAU) - The smell of turkey is in the air at the Boys in Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley in Eau Claire.

Staff, volunteers and board members served a Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday night from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

200-250 club members and their families were expected to stop in and enjoy the meal.

Tracey Smiskey says the club serves the delicious meal every year for the club members and their families. She says for many, it’s the only Thanksgiving meal they get.

On the menu was turkey with all the trimmings: stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls and more!
