(WEAU) - People celebrated Irish heritage Day by enjoying a little bit of Irish dancing.
Janelle's Irish Dance of Eau Claire performed a series of dance numbers for the community.
The crowd clapped while enjoying the complicated steps of each dance.
The instructor along with 8 dancers pointed their toes to the beat.
The dancers range from 10 to 21 years old.
Janelle says it is important to share Irish heritage.
“Its not very common in most places, I never saw it when I was younger. Its different and unique and it's a good workout and it's a lot of fun,” said Instructor Janelle Glenna.
Janelle's Irish dance also performed at St. Patrick’s Church.
