Eau Claire, Wis. (WEAU)- Prestige Kia is moving from its current location at Highway 93 to a much larger facility at the former Saturn of Eau Claire location.
Owner Dan Mattoon says the business has outgrown its current facility in Eau Claire. Mattoon says Prestige Auto and its employees are excited for the opportunity to revitalize a dormant facility, while adding to the value of a locally owned and operated business. He says it also frees up the room to offer employment to a greater number of people of the Chippewa Valley and surrounding communities.
Dan and Lisa Mattoon, born and raised in the Chippewa Valley, started Prestige Auto on Menomonie St in 1988 before moving their operation to Highway 53 in Lake Hallie two years later. They grew their pre-owned car operation at the Hwy 53 location for 10 years before transforming it into Chippewa Valley RV. Dan and Lisa built the current facility at Hwy 93S in 1997 to house the Kia franchise and later Mitsubishi. Prestige Auto Group now maintains four locations including, two in Eau Claire, one in Lake Hallie and one in Menomonie.
