BALSAM LAKE, WI - (WEAU) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says that at approximately 12 pm on June 8th, Polk County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint of a possible OWI driver.

A Wisconsin DNR warden stopped the reported driver/vehicle and was assisted by the Wisconsin State Patrol.

After further investigation, the Wisconsin State Patrol arrested Peter D. Hanson, age 47, from Balsam Lake for Possession of Methamphetamine and Marijuana and 5th offense OWI.
