Mayo collecting winter clothing for "Warm the Hands, Warm the Heart"

(WEAU) - If you want to help keep people in the Chippewa Valley warm this winter, here's your chance.

Mayo Clinic Health System will have collection sites during the annual "Warm the Hands, Warm the Heart" event. Now through November 30th, Mayo Clinic sites throughout west central Wisconsin are collecting hats, mittens, gloves and scarves to give to local families in need.

Water-repellent children's items and men's gloves are especially in need.
