(WEAU) - People were rocking and rolling for a good cause Wednesday night.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Wisconsin hosted Bowl for Kids’ Sake Wednesday night at Wagner's Lanes. Wednesday night's event is one of several that have happened all over Western Wisconsin over the past few weeks.
WEAU’s very own Meghan Kulig and Andrew McCawley were helping out.
Craig Monson, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Wisconsin, says it is the organization's largest fundraiser of the year, and it's only growing. "This event continues to grow for us. It's been wonderful. Over the last 7 years, it's doubled in size. 7 years ago, we were at about $100,000. Now we should net about $200,000 this year on this event. So it's just wonderful to see,” said Monson.
All the money raised goes towards supporting mentoring relationships for children who face adversity.
