Steak and Burger Dinner raises $60,000

Eau Claire, Wis. (WEAU) - It was a night where the kids lived in luxury, while adults had to settle for the burgers, but it was all for a good cause.

The Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley held its 6th Annual Steak and Burger Dinner Tuesday night at Florian Gardens. Organizers say the dinner was a big success, raising $60,000 for the Boys and Girls Club. Executive Director Sara Antonson says the night is really about the kids.

The theme of this year's dinner was "Riding into the Future," with the event having a western feel.
