The United Way hosts public conversation at CVTC

(WEAU) - The United Way is asking you for input on how to implement its programs.

Tuesday night, the organization held a community conversation at Chippewa Valley Technical College. The United Way says it's using data gathered during the conversation to create a community action plan. The organization will then use that plan to increase its positive effect on the community.

Director of Marketing James Peters says "without people actually telling us what is affecting their lives, what’s affecting neighbors’ lives, we don’t get the best concept of how to affect lasting changing our community.

Tuesday night's meeting was the 8th planned meeting around the Chippewa Valley.
