(WEAU) - Some folks at Country Jam enjoyed a good old fashion breakfast Saturday morning.
A stack of pancakes, sausages and muffins were served to raise money for the Wisconsin Youth Success Program. Organizers say people lined up this morning to escape the rain and enjoy a hot breakfast.
The money from the event goes directly to the camp held each year on the UW-Eau Claire campus. The program is free and gives Chippewa Valley kids a chance to eat healthy, play sports and learn about leadership.
Lisa Schuetz with the program says "our program is free for economic disadvantaged families in the Chippewa Valley. So without fundraisers like this we aren't able to have this program."
Last year the event raised $1,900.
