(WEAU) - Fishing poles, boats, and wooden pigs are just a few things the Third Annual Wisconsin Sports Show is offering this year.
Vendors hope to see about 6,000 make their way to the show throughout the weekend, despite the warm weather.
"The only thing we can hope for is people are getting out and about with weather and stop at the show,” said Jason Berry of the Eau Claire Rod and Gun Club.
"Last year a lot of people weren't here right away in the morning so I think with the nice weather hopefully we'll go outside and venture out of their houses a little bit and come see what we have to offer,” said McKenna Walbeck of Outdoor Bound.
One vendor selling trailers has seen an increase in sales because people want to get out camping as soon as possible.
"Its picked up a ton, usually by now is when people start looking and we have a whole bunch of them out this year,” said Robert Botts, a trailer vendor.
As lakes start to unfreeze, outdoor activities are making a slow start, but vendors still expect the number of people to be above last year's 4,000.
"This weather, although its still warm, a lot of the lakes and the rivers still have some ice cover, so I'm not sure how many people are going to try and go out fishing, so I think their going to come in,” said Mike Delbisco with Texas Roadhouse.
While warm weather has taken over Eau Claire outside, people at the show plan to enjoy the air conditioning inside.
"Were going to spend time here today, take in all the different booths and whatever else they show around here,” said Dennis Szeshinski from Edgar, Wisconsin.
"It's a little warm outside and I'd like it to stay cool in here,” said Walbeck
