"It's a full time job. Its 40 hours a week and I didn't want the weekend hours or the nighttime hours. Its 9-5 and its pretty consistent," said Schmidt.
Stephanie Schmidt says this is her second summer interning with the company, and answers about 1200 phone calls a day.
But she thinks the experience helps even though she's a nursing major.
"We're all working together for a common goal to make the business run," said Schmidt.
The last year the company added a hundred jobs but there's still 40 positions left to fill.
"The last decade has really been a growth spurt for us. We've grown tremendously. We've actually doubled the size of our company. We’re onwards of 600 employee’s now." said Steve Parkman, Chief Operating Officer
Internship Coordinator Lori Katcher says the 65 year old company usually hires only 20 interns, but it needed the extra hands.

An HR intern from UW-Eau Claire says filing and setting up interviews in the HR Department has been helpful.
“I think employers this day and age are not only looking at G.P.A. They want experience and hands on experience, especially if you’re going into a job like HR there's a lot of confidentiality and stuff," said HR intern, Aimee Lapacinski.
“It’s great that we can bring interns in and show them that there is opportunity for them,” said Parkman.
