We would proudly like to nominate Mr. Duane Picknell of Chetek for the Sunshine Award. In 1997 Duane became General Manager of a new plant in Chetek called Parker-Hannifin. The company makes Fluid Power Quick Couplings for companies like John Deere, Case, Sperry-New Holland and Caterpillar plus many others. Through his guidance the company has had great success. He makes it a great place to work. Just announced, he will retire on April 30th, 2013. Duane has been with Parker-Hannifin for over 35 years. He is only in his fifties and has had recent heart problems. He is going to be missed greatly!
