12-31-12 - Carrie & Ben Brindle
I would like to nominate Carrie Brindle and her son, Ben, for the Sunshine Award. Every year I pick up tags for children whose families are in need of some help with Christmas gifts for their child. This year, Carrie, who works in the x-ray department here at Tri-County Hospital, took the tag for a 7 year old boy. When she went shopping she took her 10 year old son with her to help pick out the gifts. When she explained what she was doing, he could not believe that there were children out there who might not get gifts on Christmas. He was so moved that he broke into his own piggy bank and bought extra gifts for the boy to be sure that he would have a GREAT Christmas! The true meaning of Christmas gift giving! Merry Christmas.
