My daughter got sick with a kidney infection and was hospitalized for six days. She was not able to attend school last week for the costume parade for Halloween. Her teacher Casey took it upon himself to come up to the hospital to see Hannah and drop off an iPad on his lunch so they could Skype with her and she could be a part of the parade. She got to see her class and everyone else at the school. It meant so much to me that he wanted her to be a part of the class and not miss out when she was sick and sad. It put a big smile on her face. Not only did he carry her phone that she was on but he made her feel a part of it. He was talking to her and asking if she could see everyone. He kept asking her if she was okay. He would turn the phone around so she could see him and he would make a funny face to make her smile. It was amazing. I cried the whole time. I was crying because I was happy. He put a smile on her face when she was feeling down. This is my way to thank him!
