Nine years ago, I acquired my first dog, ever. I brought my four week old puppy to the Clinic, where I met Jolene. This amazing woman has helped me get through it all, from separation anxiety to training tips, woodchuck bites to porcupine quills and Lyme’s Disease to tumors.
You can just about imagine the questions I conjured up over the years! And every time I called or came in, Jolene assisted in SUCH a sincere manner.
She has always made me feel like she cared about my big sweetie, as much as I did.
Due to an inoperable tumor, we had to say good-bye to our beloved pet. It was a very rough decision.
On October 30, 2013, Jolene was kind enough to make a house call, allowing us to share our final moments, within our home.
From the beginning to the end, she shared this journey with me, in laughter and in tears.
She has found her true calling. I hope that this nomination allows her to see what an outstanding job she is doing each and every day.
