Tajma Hall joined the WEAU 13 News team in August of 2017 as a Multimedia Journalist.
Growing up, Tajma enjoyed watching news stories with her Grandmother. After winning a national speech competition, Tajma turned her public speaking skills and love for the news into a passion for journalism and television production.
A Chicago native, Tajma’s broadcast education began in high school and continued through college. Tajma graduated from Columbia College Chicago’s School of Media Arts with a B.A. in Journalism. During her college career, Tajma reported, anchored and produced for her college’s news station, covering a variety of topics from politics and social issues, to entertainment and sports.
Tajma has held two internships with NBC News, where she worked at the Midwest Bureau, providing news coverage for the Today Show, NBC Nightly News and MSNBC. Part of her duties during her internship were to monitor stories from NBC affiliate stations across the region, including WEAU.
When Tajma isn’t reporting the news, she enjoys watching it, as well as listening to music, going to the movies, and traveling. Tajma is excited to join the Eau Claire community and for the opportunity to tell the stories of the Chippewa Valley. She looks forward to connecting with WEAU viewers.
