Chippewa County presently has a less than part-time opening for a Nutrition Program Site Aide in the Aging & Disability Resource Center.
The job duties of the Site Aide include but are not limited to ensuring smooth operation of the assigned Meal Site by providing a welcoming atmosphere for diners; providing direction, coordination and guidance to volunteers; ensuring sanitation and food handling regulations are followed; delivering home delivered meals; and to be responsive, courteous and efficient. Hours worked at meals sites and deliverying meals, generally, are 2-4 hours over the lunch hour and any additional home visit scheduling is flexible.
A high school diploma/equivalent required. One (1) year of related work experience that involves food service and/or working with special population groups or previous experience working with the seniors desired. Must complete a Safe-Serv Food Service training program and secure certification within 90 days of hire. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must pass criminal/caregiver background check. A valid Wisconsin Driver’s license required.
