Qualified applicants will have any training, education or experience in the following:
1. Planning and directing the operations of a maintenance department including the proper operation of heating, cooling and refrigeration systems, electronic, food service, and grounds equipment; security systems, building structure components and gas/diesel powered automotive.
2. Interpreting and applying state and federal codes, and standards relating to building standards construction and maintenance, fire safety, plumbing and electricity; conducting annual inspections of property. Developing project requests to maintain roads, buildings, roofs and infrastructure; working directly with departments such as (purchasing, requisition, procurement, strategic sourcing, department of administration, division of facility development etc.) to develop a scope of work and estimate cost of repairs prior to submission of small project requests.
3. Planning and directing minor construction and remolding projects to meet the changing goals of the property and the mission. Discussing plans and funding needs with the organizations maintenance budget representatives and coordinating with management.
