Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; however other duties may be assigned.

Plugging In
•Supplies inventory
•Work order creation, delegation, execution and closure
•Labor compliance- manages daily hours and daily dollars
•Purchase Order compliance
•Equipment: use company process to report broken equipment
•Requests approval of Overtime to direct supervisor
•Approves overtime after approval by Operations Manager or Director of Operations
•Reports and initiates personnel changes
•Assures contractual daily compliance and reporting (such as Green program and any other requirements as applicable)
•Follows up on Quality Controls according to QC tracker
•Expense reports/mileage reports
•Oversight and execution of TAGs
•Notifies direct supervisor of contract modifications
•Conducts training of Leads and direct reports
•Collaborate with HR on employee injuries, discipline and terminations
•Provides escalation of termination of employees to direct supervisor and HR – notifies employee of separation with HR assistance as necessary (files e-separation via Call Center and signs form)
•Issues ECs (creates, signs and presents EC to employee)
•LEADERSHIP = Generate lasting positive change at a quick, yet sustainable pace!

Own Customer Management

•Finds staffing coverage
•I-9 compliance for respective accounts
•Daily interaction with customers- building liaison
•Receive requests from customer
•Maintains and updates Employee Rosters and sends to customer as appropriate
•Creates supply orders and forwards to vendor or to direct supervisor as appropriate
•Starting new jobs
•Time off approval for subordinates

Demonstrate Effective Collaboration

•Participates in weekly 1-1 meeting with direct supervisor
•Participates in Daily Call with Call Center
•Conducts daily call with Supervisors and Leads (subordinates) - Review outstanding work orders, labor reports and alerts, employee issues, staffing needs, customer issues, supply and equipment needs and status
•Labor compliance - Receives & Reviews Labor Reports and alerts – daily review with Lead during daily call - Completes Punch edits for data entry (electronic or paper option) after review with Lead
•WLM (Weekly Leadership Meeting) attendance when applicable
•Receive and/or provide mid-year and annual review feedback
•Notifies direct supervisor of lack of support (score card)
•Provides training to direct reports (Leads)
•Provide referrals
•Own finding people for staffing and complete hiring process
•Completes Plugged In scorecard
•Creation of employee schedules and summary sheets
•Reviews active employee list and staffing rosters

Demonstrate & Communicate Leadership

•Embrace the leadership development plan and apply it in each and every tasks
•Conduct Leadership assessments and determine whether or not we have the right people -Yes – Plug them in - No – Develop or replace

Execute Strategic Plan

•Support Operations Manager on meeting goals from strategic plan

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises custodial employees at one or more facilities. Position title based on span of control -- size and scope of responsibility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•Must have cleaning industry knowledge, basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and floor work techniques.
•Must have two to four years of supervisory experience or related experience and training
•Must have administrative skills and must be skilled and have experience in computer usage, scanning/faxing and smart phone usage
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
•Excellent communication skills
•Knowledge of working within assigned budgets and monitoring budgets for compliance
•Knowledge and skills in working with a pay system and timekeeping management
•Knowledge and experience in supply ordering and supply management
•Excellent relationship building and communication with both internal and external customers
•Strong organizational and multitasking skills
•Must be willing to travel
•Be deadline oriented
•High degree of initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Language Skills
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general operational communications and procedures. Ability to read and interpret general business emails and documents as well as equipment and supplies information or instructions. Ability to write incident reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
•Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
•Communicate effectively with employees and customers

Must have a valid Driver's License and clean record

Must be able to pass an extensive background check, fingerprints, drug test, and e-verify
