Job Description

ACR accredited diagnostic imaging department within a medical clinic seeking a multi-modality full time, part time and casual radiologic technologist to provide high quality diagnostic imaging at our main office in Eau Claire, WI at OakLeaf Clinics Imaging.

- Full time position
- Part time position and/or casual position
- Clinic hours range between 7:30am -5:30pm.

Responsibilities and requirements:
•Provide high quality diagnostic imaging including xray, mammography, CT, and bone density studies in accordance with ACR and MQSA standards. A radiologic technologist preforms technical exams requiring independent judgment, creative solutions and initiative.
•Room setup, patient positioning, quality control, and radiation safety are direct responsibilities of the tech. This includes but is not limited to adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors, minimizing radiation to the patients and to staff by executing radiation protection techniques.
•Assist in mammogram record keeping for MQSA.
•Adherence to policies and protocols including but not limited to exam protocols, workflows and infection control.
•Maintain equipment and exam rooms. Collaborate with co-workers in the set-up and clean-up of the exam rooms before and after each patient to maintain efficient patient flow.
•Courteous and confidential patient care skills and the ability to quell patient anxiety, explain exams and answer questions.
•Ability to work as a team and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a clam and professional demeanor. The patient load is different every day, some days can be very busy with overlapping add-on exams and other days will have more down time to catch up on other projects, such as updating protocols.
•A willingness to jump in and help; ability to take initiative to do what needs to be done to ensure smooth and efficient patient cares.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited institution for radiologic technology
- Must be a registered by the State of WI in X-ray and either mammography and CT
- Ideal candidate will be registered in all three, xray, mammography and CT
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiology technologist
- CPR/BLS upon hire
- Experience with bone density is a plus but not required
- Valid drivers license
