Chippewa County is currently accepting applications for a vacant part-time Registered Nurse position within the Home Health Division of the Public Health Department.
The job duties of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to assess, plan, implement and evaluate home health nursing services delivered to individuals in their homes; to assure patient is able to remain in home environment by coordinating care between therapies, nursing, physicians and family; to assure clients can live in their home environment safely with good understanding and assistance with medications, activities of daily living and health promotion; may assign the work of Home Health Aides and licensed practical nurses. This position varies from approximately 20-28 hours per week.
Associate’s degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s degree from a nursing program accredited by the National Professional Nursing Accrediting Organization is preferred. Wisconsin Registered Nurse license required. Recent work experience in a medical/surgical, adult health, or home care setting required. CPR Certification preferred. A valid driver’s is required and a cell phone is recommended.

$23.61 - $29.74 per hour depending on qualifications plus voluntary benefit options. Position may be eligible for an annual pay increase based on performance.
