Children's Legacy Luncheon & Night at the Museum

EAU CLAIRE, WIs. (WEAU) -- The countdown to Christmas is on! So why not sign up your little elves for some holiday fun happening right here in the Chippewa Valley! Plus a special luncheon is coming up to honor those who've done outstanding work in the area.

Ken Van Es, of the Eau Claire YMCA and Mike McHorney of The Children's Museum of Eau Claire joined Hello Wisconsin to talk more about it.

The Children's Legacy Luncheon is an opportunity for our community to be inspired. Each year, 5-6 individuals are recognized for their work on behalf of children in our community - whether it be volunteering, mentoring, philanthropy, or advocacy with the Outstanding Achievement Award.

Visit our website, childrensmuseumec.com, to complete the online nomination form. Nominations are accepted now through January 15, 2018.

The 17th Annual Children's Legacy Luncheon will be held at the Florian Gardens on May 31, 2018.
