EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Chippewa Valley Museum will be partnering with Tactical Escape 101 to bring a Halloween-themed escape room experience to the Historic Schlegelmilch House located in downtown Eau Claire. The Haunted Schlegelmilch Escape Room will run from October 6 to November 5 and proceeds from the month-long challenge will benefit the Chippewa Valley Museum.
The Haunted Escape Room gives teams of 4 to 12 people 60-minutes to solve the puzzle and escape the historic spooky rooms. Tactical Escape 101 partnered with the museum in 2016 with a similar challenge and has designed the new challenge with two rooms in 2017.
Tickets are $30 per person, and the museum will receive $10 for each reservation. No Tactical Escape 101 discounts, specials or coupons will be accepted for this off-site fundraiser.
This historic home was built in 1871 by German immigrants Herman and Augusta Schlegelmilch. Three generations of Schlegelmilch and Barland families lived in the house until it was donated to the Chippewa Valley Museum in 1976.
The Schlegelmilch House is located at 517 South Farwell Street in downtown Eau Claire.
