NOON INTERVIEW: Cancer Relief Benefit

TONY, Wis. (WEAU)— The 11th Annual Cancer Relief Benefit will be held at Flambeau High School during the basketball game, Friday, February 2.
The benefit is organized by a group of volunteer staff and students. Over the past ten years, it has raised over $100,000 for various organizations.
The funds raised this year will be split between the Women With Courage Foundation of Rusk County and Joshua’s Camp in Eau Claire.
Some of the funds will be used to purchase a gift for a Flambeau student who has been diagnosed with leukemia.
The event is on February 2nd during thedouble-header basketball game versus Cornell.
There will also be a morning assembly for the students and community.

There will be a silent auction, a pie auction, 50/50 raffle, free will donation meal, ice cream sundae bar, face painting station, and more at the evening’s event.
