Wisconsin's first lady promotes initiative in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Wisconsin's first lady Tonette Walker made a stop at Chippewa County Human Services in Chippewa Falls, Monday.

Her stop is part of the Governor's "Cabinet on the Road".

The first lady discussed her Fostering Futures collaboration.

It works with the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families to continue raising awareness about the impact of childhood trauma on people's lives.

“I think we're on the right track, we're going in the right direction if we can keep trauma informed care, the movement going, we can change the outcome for families,” said Walker.

Governor Scott Walker stopped at the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce business luncheon in Altoona.
