Winter weather exits, difficult travel conditions continue

By  |

While the active weather from last night winter storm is beginning to wind down there may be slippery driving conditions on some roads in Western Wisconsin.

Snow accumulations totals of several inches have been reported from this latest event. While the weather looks much quieter on Sunday winds will be strong from the west and southwest. This could lead to blowing and drifting snow across the region.

Winter weather alerts were in effect until early this morning but no active weather alerts are expected at this time. Wind gusts could exceed 20 miles per hour as low pressure from last night's storm continues to move off to the northeast gaining strength.
