LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The La Crosse Police Department has confirmed the body of 27-year-old Daniel Chamberlain has been recovered.

In a statement released Friday, the department said his body was found in a wooded area at the base of Miller Bluff, just east of State Highway 16. Police had previously located his vehicle unoccupied at the end of Old Vineyard Rd. in the Town of Shelby.

La Crosse Police, along with the La Crosse County Medical Examiner, are still investigating the death. However, the statement said “there are no indications of foul play.”

An autopsy on Chamberlain’s body is planned for this coming Monday.
