Chippewa Falls bridge work to start soon

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- Traffic is expected to back-up as work on a Chippewa Falls bridge is set to begin.

Starting Monday, June 20, the Main Street Bridge will be closed as crews do repair work.

The bridge will be closed until construction is complete, which is expected to be Aug. 26.

Traffic will be detoured to Highways 124 and 29.

Crews will be repairing concrete, pavement and bridge joints.
