EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)-- A group of cycling enthusiasts came together Sunday in Eau Claire to do a little off-road style cycling.

Around ten cyclists took part in Ghettocross, an unofficial Cyclo-Cross race, which is a type of racing where riders go over obstacles, through mud, and through creeks. The group has been doing the race for over eight years now. They say it's fun to get together as a group and keep cycling going in Eau Claire.

Cycling advocate Derek Parr says, "It's really easy to do. It's nice getting people together riding bike, to introduce them to things, to keep the cycling community alive and growing in Eau Claire."

The cycling group cleans up the park before and after the race.
