EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- As of around 10 p.m. Thursday, the Jackson Co. Emergency Management Coordinator said cellular 911 is operational again in Jackson and Monroe Counties.
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Several area county officials say they are experiencing 911 outages.
Eau Claire, Jackson and Monroe counties issued statements Thursday about the outage. Eau Claire County Emergency Management took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon. Eau Claire is experiencing landline 911 outages. Eau Claire County Emergency Management told WEAU 13 News, if there is an emergency in Cleghorn and Augusta, calling 911 via cell phone or non-CenturyLink phone will get through.
Jackson and Monroe counties are reportedly experiencing cellular 911 outages. Citizens in those counties will need to call the center’s non-emergency number in the meantime.

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office took to Facebook Thursday afternoon to let people know if they are also experiencing 911 outages.
