BARRON COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- Volunteers came out in droves to help clean up the damage Tuesday’s storms left, but one family gifted another with something they had lost in the storm.

Angie Redman of Barron gave a 2002 Ford Expedition to Ashley Kobernick of Chetek who says she can now get to work without having to worry about transportation.

"It's fabulous,” Kobernick said. “I'm very blessed. I lost everything: my father's home, my vehicle, my boyfriend's vehicle. I have a little daughter. I'm very, very thankful for everything that everyone has done."

"I know what it would be like to not be able to replace your vehicle and have kids, to be able to work and daycare," Redman said.

Redman says she grew up in Chetek, so she says doing this is the least she could do.
