Fatal motorcycle crash victim identified

DUNN COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- A man who died in a motorcycle crash in Dunn County Sunday afternoon has been identified.

Deputies say 25-year-old Samuel Hayes of Wheeler was riding his motorcycle in the Town of Otter Creek, northwest of Eau Claire.

He was headed northbound on County Road S, approaching 570th Street.

A woman driving her car south on County Road S was going around a curve when she hit the motorcycle as it was turning onto 570th Street.

Hayes was pronounced dead on the scene.

The female driver was not hurt.
