CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- Dinosaurs are roaming in Chippewa Falls this weekend in a nationwide prehistoric exhibit.
Jurassic Quest, the exhibit where dinosaurs look real and actually move, is at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. Hundreds of people were out and about checking out the prehistoric creatures. The cost at the gate is $20 for kids age 2-12 and $25 for 13 and up. Event organizers say the exhibit isn't just a fun event for kids, but an educational one as well.
"This is one of those educational exhibits that people need to come and check out because, quite frankly, you're going to learn a lot about the dinosaurs from all the different ages,” Rusty Volk, the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Executive Director, said. “I haven't even been through it all and it's awesome. It's great."
Volk is expecting around 2,000 people total to come through the gates. The exhibit will open Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
