Layoffs announced for La Crosse distribution facility

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Nearly 70 people will be laid off at a La Crosse distribution facility this spring.

McKesson Corporation says it will permanently discontinue all operations at its facility in La Crosse this May. The company says about 67 employees will be affected starting March 31 with the layoffs continuing through May 5.

The Western Wisconsin Workforce Development Area Rapid Response team is offering services to the affected business and workers.
