EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A listening session is held Monday night to discuss a potential condominium project in Eau Claire which would be built at the site of the old Huebsch building.

J-Cap Real Estate purchased the building and land.

Brian Johnson of J-Cap Real Estate said the forum held at the Lakely Restaurant was to see what potential condo buyers want including the design and amenities.

He says in the next 60 to 90 days he hopes to know what exactly will be built on the property.

Johnson says there's a big attraction to living downtown.

“The sites been really underutilized for a long time and we think it'll make a great condominiums site and we have had just a phenomenal amount of interest in potential buyers want to buy condos in downtown Eau Claire”, said Johnson.

Johnson says he expects to have another forum and listening session in the next 30 days.
