EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A local non-profit organization hosted a free Easter dinner.
Hope Gospel Mission hosted its annual Easter community dinner Saturday evening.
The free dinner featured ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, and cake.
Reservations weren't needed and the whole community was encouraged to attend.
One organizer says that Hope Gospel Mission wants the community to know they are always there to help those in need.
"There are a lot of people who are very very hungry, probably more people than the Greater Chippewa Valley really realizes, and so there are several times throughout the year that Hope Gospel Mission is able to provide this type of meal," said Sandy Polzin of Hope Gospel Mission.
There was a concert and a short program before the dinner.
