Man accused of robbing Fox Run Tavern enters plea

A man accused of robbing the Fox Run Tavern has entered a plea.

Christopher Coons, 30, entered a not guilty plea Wednesday in Eau Claire County Court.

Coons is charged with two counts including burglary and theft.

According to a criminal complaint, it happened in July.

The complaint goes on to say the owner of the Fox Run Tavern says the tavern's UTV was missing along the crash register, a money bag, and the safe which including $15,000 worth of cash and drink tokens.

The complaint says a person came forward and told deputies that Coons was the one who robbed the tavern.
