NEW AUBURN, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Barron County Sheriff's office is reminding people of the dangers of drinking and driving, after a New Auburn man is hospitalized following a crash.

The crash happened early Saturday morning around 4am. Deputies say 26-year-old Maxwell Super was driving west bound on 1st Avenue in New Auburn when he hit a Highway 53 overpass cement pillar, causing him to stop in some trees.
