ELLSWORTH, Wis. (WEAU)- A 25-year-old man was thrown from his motorcycle Saturday before noon on County Highway OO in Pierce County near Ellsworth.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says Joshua Xiong of Minneapolis was driving a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle. He lost control due to his speed as he went over a hill in Trimbelle Township, north of 410th Avenue in Pierce County.
Xiong crashed and was thrown from the cycle into the ditch.
He was then transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota with non-life-threatening injuries by North Memorial Air.
Xiong’s driver’s license was not motorcycle endorsed and the cycle’s registration was expired.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.
